Doodlik is a personal planner app in the browser: notebooks, a calendar, shared plans with friends, and Archie, a small AI helper. It is meant to feel calm and a bit playful — not like work software.

Not as a native store app. Doodlik is a web app. You open it in the browser, then add it to your home screen so it behaves like an app icon. See how to add Doodlik to your home screen below.

Use app.doodlik.com (the planner itself), not only the marketing site.

iPhone or iPad (Safari)

1. Open app.doodlik.com in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
3. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Name it Doodlik if you like, then tap Add.

You should see the flower icon on your home screen. Opening it feels like a full-screen app, without a store install.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open app.doodlik.com in Chrome.
2. Tap the three-dot menu.
3. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
4. Confirm. Doodlik appears with your other apps.

If you do not see the option yet, visit the app once while signed in, then try the menu again.

Yes. Keep some notebooks private and locked. Share others — a holiday dump, a house book, a study group — so everyone can open the same space and write in it.

Shared to-dos live on a friend’s profile, not in a separate work “workspace”. Open the friend, use the list you share with them — packing, who brings pudding, little bits of a shared life.

Yes. Connect Google Calendar so events you already have can sit next to plans you make in Doodlik. Your personal Doodlik calendar stays yours; shared calendars with friends are separate when you need a group view.

Archie greets you with a daily briefing: what’s on, the weather, a daily quote, and to-dos. You can message him in ordinary language to add a plan or check the weather. He is a helper in your planner, not a replacement for thinking.

Private notebooks can be locked and stay yours. You only share a notebook or a calendar when you choose to. The planner itself is behind login, so search engines cannot index your notes.

Yes. Open Customise in the app to pick a colour theme — including calmer dark options — and choose which cards sit on your home screen. Notebooks get their own covers, and calendar events can be colour-coded so the week is easy to read.

You can start free in the browser. If paid plans exist or change, they will be shown in the app. The marketing site is just the front door.
