Shared to-do lists, calendars, and notebooks with friends

The social layer of Doodlik: friends you add, a mood you can share, lists on their profile, calendars for the trip, notebooks when a list is not enough.

Friends, not a workplace

Doodlik is a personal planner first. Friends features exist so brunch, housemate chores, and group trips do not live in a dying group chat. You add people you actually know. Then you share only what you meant to share.

Moods, in emoji

A friend’s profile can show how they’re feeling today — a simple emoji mood, not a status essay. It’s a small check-in that lives with the friendship, next to the shared list and the plans you already keep together.

Shared to-do lists on a friend’s profile

Shared to-dos live with the friendship — on a friend’s profile — not as a separate “workspace” you have to remember to open. Packing lists, “who is bringing pudding”, little recurring bits of a shared life. Check things off when they are done. Keep it light.

Shared calendars

When the plan has a date, use a shared calendar: the weekend away, the study group, the birthday week. Everyone sees the same events. Your personal calendar stays out of it unless you want it mixed in.

Shared notebooks

If a list is too small — itineraries, gift ideas, a joint journal — share a notebook. Several people can open the same book and write in it. It is closer to a scrapbook on the table than a work document.

The point is to spend the day together, not to administer it.
